Duke and North Carolina will square off in Saturday’s Final Four game – marking the first time the two historic programs will meet in the NCAA Tournament. This means North Carolina State will be represented in Monday’s NCAA championship game. “When the game is over, we’ll hit the ground, turn on the presses and go. And we’ll spit them out all night,” he added. Shirt shipments would go out as early as 2 a.m. Tuesday. If Duke wins, Nvizion is expected to create around 6,000 shirts. However, if North Carolina wins the title, they will create around 9,000-10,000 shirts. Fry said he hopes one of the teams wins it all. This will help many of its employees and other local businesses that have been affected during the pandemic, he said. “It’s really important that we can keep people employed,” he said. “The disease has been detrimental to a lot of businesses, but we’ve been really lucky, so it’s a big deal. It’s definitely going to help our business and surrounding businesses, selling the shirts.”

When it comes to Duke and North Carolina basketball, Nvizion Inc., located on Charles Road in King, North Carolina, knows a thing or two about championships.

The design company has been creating jerseys for championship basketball, hockey and football teams for decades, including Duke and North Carolina.

The shirts are made for Hanes — the multinational clothing brand has contracts with the University of North Carolina and Duke University, Nvizion management said.

The last championship t-shirt they printed for either program was in 2017 when North Carolina won it all.

And next week, this partnership could possibly continue.

“It’s going to be crazy. Everyone is going to run like a madhouse. But it’s not our first time. We’re pretty prepared. We have a good game plan. It’s definitely high intensity,” said said Patrick Fry, president of Nvizion Inc.

Duke and North Carolina will square off in this Saturday’s Final Four game – marking the first time the two historic programs have met in the NCAA Tournament.

That means North Carolina State will be represented in Monday’s NCAA championship game.
