The Greenshirts are desperate to defeat their arch-rivals, India Today
BIRMINGHAM: After suffering a 15 run loss to Barbados on Friday night, the Pakistan women’s cricket team will be desperate for a win to stay in contention when they face tough India in their second match of cricket’s Group A Commonwealth Games T20 here at Edgbaston Stadium on Sunday (today).
The match starts at 3 p.m. PST.
It was a blow for the team led by Bismah Maroof when they were defeated by Barbados in a game where the Pakistani batters were seen struggling with the rebound and deflection.
Nida Dar was the only hitter who played with grace, landing a few great shots before returning 50 steps on 31 balls.

The last time the two teams met in a T20I match was at the 2018 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Providence, Guyana. The Indian women won by seven wickets.
