Peter Millar Runner Performance Jersey Polo Review

Peter Millar is synonymous with very high quality polo shirts – it is the category of clothing that has really helped to make his name and reputation in golf. I have an abundance of polo shirts in my golf wardrobe, and Peter Millar’s are definitely some of my favorites. This particular style features a custom vintage speedometer pattern, which Peter Millar designed by hand in his Pilot Mill studio. I think it’s very clever and has received a lot of releases and favorable comments from play partners this season.

What is my height/what is my build?
5 feet 8.5 inches, average height.

What do I normally wear? Does it fit large/small?
This polo is part of the Crown Sport range, which is Peter Millar’s classic fit, so for me the size medium was perfect. I tend to have to go up to a size large in the Crown Crafted, Tailored Fit. This may seem like obvious advice, but try before you buy, at least until you get a feel for the brand’s different fits.

How did it fit/feel/execute?
It is a very soft and stretchy polo shirt. Peter Millar says the four-lane section provides optimal mobility, and I agree. This shirt is lightweight, breathable and extremely comfortable.

Any additional details you notice?
The brand’s subtle crown logo on the neck is a nice touch.

Can you wear it off the course?
Absolutely. It looks like a modern fashion polo shirt – very stylish as well.

How does it come out after washing / do you need to iron it?
Manufacturer’s advice as follows: Machine wash with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Place it on a shed and it will dry out pretty quickly. The fact that you don’t need to iron this polo shirt is another plus.
