G/FORE Offset Multi-Stripe Polo Review

I make no secret of the fact that I really like what G/FORE brings to the golf apparel market. This premium brand is renowned for creating different golf apparel, and this polo shirt certainly is. Some might say the unique mismatched stripe print (opens in a new tab)‘ which is on the front of the shirt (the stripe on the back is uniform) looks weird. Although it certainly attracts some comments, I must say that I like it, but others may not want to draw attention.

What is my height/what is my build?
5 feet 8.5 inches, average height.

What do I normally wear? Does it fit large/small?
Medium, which was a perfect fit – not too loose or too tight. G/FORE also tends to get the perfect length on their polo shirts. If you want to wear it untucked – as many people will with a brand like G/FORE – it’s not too long. You read that right – it’s possible to look stylish if you wear a polo shirt, like this, untucked!

How did it fit/feel/execute?
Like all G/FORE products, the quality is superb. The soft touch is something to appreciate the moment you put it on for the first time. It looks great and given its lightweight and breathable properties, it also feels great to the touch.

Any additional details you notice?
I really like the collar, which is not too stiffly structured. G/FORE excels in the small details. The buttons are soft to the touch – the top three feature a little G/FORE text on the side and the bottom one features the brand’s logo – its little things like this that it does so well and provide a real point of difference from most other golf brands. The rubberized logo on the neck is also nice.

Can you wear it off the course?
Yes, which is another appealing aspect of G/FORE clothing in general. It doesn’t scream “golfer” when you’re on the go. In fact, very few people would even recognize it as a golf brand. Since the logo on the neck is very discreet, it looks like an ordinary fashion polo shirt.

How does it come out after washing / do you need to iron it?
Manufacturer’s advice as follows: wash inside out. Machine wash warm. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Low iron. Do not dry clean. I did not find it necessary to use an iron. Like the majority of G/FORE garments, they’re super easy to care for – just hang them to dry and a few hours later they’re ready to go.
