Classic Celtic and Rangers football shirts on sale as pop-up shop returns to Glasgow

Football fans will once again return to Trongate with the return of the pop-up shop for classic football shirts.

Hundreds of football tapes went on sale across the city in February 2020, including thelegendary Celtic and Rangers kits from years past.

At the time, fans took to social media to share photos of their new shirts, with club and international shirts from around the world on sale.

The shop will open tomorrow, March 16, in the Sneakers ER store at 73-77 Trongate, with the pop-up running over the next two weeks until March 27.

Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends.

Classic football shirts began in 2006, when two University of Manchester students wanted to get their hands on a historic Germany 1990 international kit in time for the Summer World Cup.

Now the team have hundreds of thousands of different bands in stock, all sold in pop-up shops across the UK.
