Artur Boruc dons Celtic shirt again for Legia Warsaw farewell showdown and Hoops fans are loving it

ARTUR BORUC donned Celtic colors for one last time ahead of his farewell clash in Poland

The Hoops are in action against Boruc’s Legia Warsaw and he is ending his career after a long 22-year stint in football.

The goalkeeper – who has won 65 caps for Poland – has been with Legia for eight years across two spells and has also played for Fiorentina, Southampton and Bournemouth.

During tonight’s match warm-up, Boruc wore the Hoops No1 shirt and the fans loved the touch.

One of them wrote on Twitter: “One of the greatest”.

A second tweeted: “What a legend!”

A third said, “The Legend himself!”

And a fourth added: “Sign it up.”

Celtic players wore a special Boruc t-shirt as a tribute to Boruc ahead of the Poland clash.

It’s the penultimate friendly for Ange Postecoglou’s side, with another game against Norwich City this weekend before the new Premiership season kicks off on July 31.

And the Hoops boss will be looking for another tough test for his side when they face their Polish opponents tonight.
