A pop-up shop for classic football shirts is coming to Dublin
You know what they say about nostalgia. It’s not what it used to be.
We all yearn for the olden days from time to time, but when it comes to football fandom there seems to be a particular affinity for the days of yore. Past glories are regularly recalled with joy while painful memories are never truly erased. We’re looking at you, Thierry.
If you’re one of those people who loves hazy reminders of the past, or know someone like that, then you should take note of this upcoming event. Classic Football Shirts, a company specializing in classic football shirts, has revealed it will be coming to Dublin in November.
Taking place at 10 South Anne Street, fans will be able to get their hands on great retro designs such as Ireland’s 2002 World Cup jersey, Manchester United’s glorious mid-90s numbers and many other classics of the club and the international scene.
With Christmas on the horizon, you’re sure to find the perfect gift for a football-mad loved one or plenty for yourself if you wish. The store will be open from Tuesday November 5 to Sunday November 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and you can find more information here.
